Hi, I'm Jennifer!
I’m a senior at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo obtaining a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Art and Design concentrating in Graphic Design. I’m originally from Orange County where I received an Associate of Arts Degree in Studio Arts. Outside of the classroom, you’ll find me baking delicious treats, taking spin classes, and petting all the dogs.
I currently work for Cal Poly's University Housing department where I assist with graphic design projects for their marketing team. I am a member of the Her Campus Cal Poly Chapter, a digital magazine run by women, where I design their social media posts. My work has been featured in .RAW, an art magazine at Cal Poly, and has been displayed at MYLR Gallery and Books in San Luis Obispo.
I incorporate funky typography and lively illustrations as much as I can in my work. I draw a lot of inspo from 70s and 80s retro graphic design such as bold, saturated colors and mascot character illustrations. I'm always on a hunt for cool and unique typefaces and love experimenting with unexpected color combos. I am open to work with fun, creative, and collaborative individuals and companies who have a passion for working with innovative designers.
