Hi, I'm Jennifer!
I’m a senior at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo obtaining a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Art and Design concentrating in Graphic Design. I’m originally from Orange County where I received an Associate of Arts Degree in Studio Arts. Outside of the classroom, you’ll find me baking delicious treats, taking spin classes, and petting all the dogs.
I am a member of the Her Campus Cal Poly Chapter, a digital magazine run by women, where I design and illustrate their social media posts. My work has been featured in .RAW, an art magazine at Cal Poly, and has been displayed at MYLR Gallery and Books in San Luis Obispo. I currently work for Cal Poly's on-campus housing department where I make graphics for their marketing team.
I have a strong passion for typography because of the impact it makes on readers through its message, tone, and emotion. I also enjoy illustrating and I take inspiration from retro designs and anything with bright colors and personality. One day, I hope to work in the film and tv industry and make graphics for sets, tv show/movie logos, or other background elements. I think it would be amazing to see my work on the big screen. I am open to work with fun, creative, and collaborative individuals and companies who have a passion for working with innovative designers.
