About
Hi, I'm Jennifer!
I’m a graphic designer and illustrator based in San Luis Obispo, California. I graduated from Cal Poly SLO in June with a B.F.A. in Art and Design concentrating in Graphic Design. I’m originally from Orange County where I received my A.A. in Studio Arts. Outside of the classroom, you’ll find me baking delicious treats, taking spin classes, and petting all the dogs.
I currently work for Cal Poly's University Housing department where I assist with graphic design projects for their marketing team. I take on a range of projects including signage, digital marketing, and photography. My work has been displayed in the Cal Poly University Art Gallery, MYLR Gallery and Books, and in the New Times newspaper along with an interview feature!
I incorporate funky typography and lively illustrations as much as I can in my work. I draw much of my inspiration from 70s and 80s retro graphic design such as bold, saturated colors and quirky mascot illustrations. I'm always on a hunt for cool and unique typefaces and love experimenting with unexpected color combos. I am open to work with fun, creative, and collaborative individuals and companies who have a passion for working with innovative designers.
