Project Brief: Design a sculpture that is around 12 to 15 inches long. You must use organic shapes and no mechnical lines. You must also have a specific composition: symmetrical, asymmetrical, or radial. Add legs, roots, and vines. Unify the entire sculpture with low-relief texture and use contrasting textures to create emphasis where you want it. Use a complementary color scheme. Work the pantina in layers, going from duller, darker foundational layers, to brighter, lighter dry brushed layers on the highest relief areas. The pantina should be neutral, not contrived, and should transition well from layer to layer. The base of the sculpture is made up of wire, masking tape, mod podge, tinfoil, and florist tape. The clay is a 2-part epoxy clay and the paint is acrylic.
