Prompt
I selected an existing business, Monica's Macarons, and redesigned their branding. Since they are a gluten-free bakery, I changed the name to The Flourless Confectionery to ensure customers understood they cater to those with gluten sensitivities.  
Audience
I targeted the brand's style and aesthetic towards a younger audience, from teens to young adults. Since this demographic often gets overlooked when it comes to healthy, gluten-free alternatives, I wanted to be sure they would feel drawn to the bakery through the branding. 
Process
I drew inspiration from the color palettes of traditional bakeries but included witty and playful elements to appeal to a young audience. Incorporating a mascot icon adds a sense of liveliness and energy to the brand. I paired that with a script word mark to tie back to that vintage aesthetic.
